2023年5月27日，浙江大学公共管理学院、中国农村发展研究院、共享与发展研究院史新杰研究员受邀做客中国国际电视台（CGTN）《环球瞭望》（Global Watch）栏目，就共同富裕背景下浙江“千万工程”发展经验以及农业现代化机制路径等问题做了解答。
史新杰研究员指出，今年是“千万工程”开展二十周年，在这二十年中，浙江“千万工程”循序渐进、稳步推动，以农村垃圾治理、污水治理、厕所改造“三大革命”作为突破口，不仅从根本上改善了农村人居环境，而且产生了一系列连锁带动效应，比如：实施农房改造建设工程，确保住有所居；完善农村基础设施，促进城乡融合；加强村庄规划和历史文化保护，提升乡风文明；壮大农村绿色经济，释放发展活力。基于浙江湖州和嘉善等地的调研，史新杰研究员认为，“千万工程”的持续推进，对于实现城乡融合和共同富裕具有重要的现实意义；浙江的相关做法显著提高了农民可支配收入，有效弥合了城乡收入差距，具有重要的参考价值。

For years, official statistics show the disposable income of farmers in the province has ranked top in the country. And the income gap between urban and rural residents is also lowest, and continues to shrink.
